Cloning your Hard Drive: What should I use?

Norton Ghost is the only program I know of that can do this but I am sure there is a better program out there.

Plus I don't own Norton Ghost and there is no way in Hell I am paying Symantec $130 Canadian plus tax to buy it so if there's nothing free or at least *reasonably priced* (ie: $50) I'll have to get "creative" which takes a lot of time that I'd rather not waste.

Powerquest Drive Image is good, i use it, but you can also just use Powerquest Partition Magic Pro, apart from that, there aren't many imaging tools, aside from Dos

oh man that's just as pricey as Norton Ghost and if I am gonna blow that kinda cash might as well go with the better known brand (Norton)

yeah but copying 30 Gigs of info in 700MB increments isn't really viable

Hey nav, do you know of norton system works 2002, it has ghost, and if you shop around you could probably get it for less than $50 ;)

i think SystemWorks comes with Norton Ghost, but it also comes *without* Norton Ghost. two different ways to buy it, with the one *with* Ghost being a lot more expensive than the one without. that's certainly how it used to be.
