Console Game Owners (Game Cube, PS2, X-Box)

With the next generation game consoles out on the market how do you guys compare them to each other. I know most of us here only play PC games but I myself also play console games (not all of my friends are into PC games as much as myself). Any thoughts about the new consoles out on the market?

well to start off with, only the Dreamcast and PS2 hace 128-bit, whereas the Box and Cube both run 32/64 hybrid processors (with a crapload od supplementary ones)

and well all 4 have their pluses and minuses (I still consider the Dreamcast apart of them because it was the 1st and still is good)

dreamcast was good but it fell due to a lack of good games, I know you are going to yell Phantasy star online, soul caliber, etc. but it had alot of crappy games.

ps2!!!! it was the first have a DVD player. the controller is better than gamecubes or x-boxs(the loaf of bread with 2 joy sticks)

thats one of the bad qualities of the X-box, but one of the best features of the PS2 and Gamecube

you're right, and it all started with a little green box full of pain... and thats pretty much what they contain today too...

Personly i think the x-box has the most promis of the video game consols. It has better hardwhare than the game cube and the ps2. Not to mention i want halo. i want halo alot.

i dunno, im reluctant to join Bill Gates any further then i have to, and i like Luigi...especially in Luigi's Mansion....ohhhhhh graphical bliss (and the game's awesome)

I don' t know the does have the alot of promise and this is Microsoft's first venture into this console arena. Who's to say what their next generation system will be like.

I am looking foward to the new Metroid game.... i can remember back to the old Nintendo days.... ah fond memories of duck hunt with the gun directly touching the screen...those were the days :'( :'(

Had a test run with the X-box liked it but I'm still not pleased need to test a FPS and a racing game, a RPG and a RTS before I throw it to the lions or make sweet love to it.

Damn this controller grrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!

see the hostle jestures towards nema, closes bag of goldfish and runs off. 2 minutes later he comes back with a d.eagle and a navy mp5.

As trh5000 leaves the room I ask Nema to let me see the keyboard. I take the keyboard and whack Nema across the head and render him unconscious then I take the mouse and tie Nema up hands and feet and gag his mouth. As trh5000 returns to the room I whack him across the head with the keyboard he drops his weapons as he falls to the floor out cold. I retrieve his weapons. Ex and myself look at the evilbaronatreides who looks at both of us and says nothing. I tell Ex to put away his las gun and find another mouse and cattle rope trh5000 with it and not forgetting to gag him. I then contact Gob's dungeon patrol and let them know I have two escapees that need to be picked up. I make the comment to Ex that I was not sure who's side trh5000 was on but when he came back with those guns I was not taking any chances.
