Remember that most of the facial detail can be done via textures.

Yes that is important if it is going to be a model in emperor.

Because then, it has to have as few faces as possible.

But as a model, facial details is nice to have.

my (good) comp is a 1.4ghz amd athlon with 512 ddram and a geforce 2 with 64 sdram.

I got a AMD1200 MHz, 512 MB SDRAM and a Geforce 2 card with 64MB VideoMemory on it.

That is very crapy to use for 3d modeling. I cannot make as detailed units as i want to :(

for 3D rendering u need a very powerful comp (especially graphic card wise) otherwise u get very long rendering times

That rendering is Prosessor speed mainly... and fast cpu = fast movie/ image...

Yes 3Drendering has nothing to do with your graphics card at all.

The only thing you need your graphicscard for is the way the program draws the 3d, but the computer CPU takes care of the rest.

Also having lots of RAM is a large plus because when you render a picture, the rendering occupies about 256 MBRAM, but when rendeing Vidiwares intropictures, it used 460MBRAM.

But I am working on a completely new intro for him(now I have said too much about Vidi's new mod).

I now have added elbows and fingers.

I have only added fingers to the right hand for a test.

The elbows help the character move the arms more realistic.
