What exactly was it that you wanted Gob to do? I can do it as well. And so can Ghosty.

Delete all previous versions from the download page and compile the download counts, like you did for KH2. Thanks.

^I Didn't say they weren't. I said they were a bit overpowering. Note, though, "Nema's" textures. So, you didn't have to do it all by yourself, now did you?

7. - That's a bad thing for CR, especially since all the new units in KH2 are very well balanced. Much better than in the original game, even.

^Really? Seems the Ordos units are rather powerful, since they have a deviating turret and a deviator trooper which are both really cheap, comparatively, and a more powerful version of the Atredies Sniper for less cost.

4. and 3. (cheap way of getting 2 reasons out of a single one) - I don't know why KH2 is 11 MB, but there are NO two units with the same image! You're just assuming things! Did you even PLAY KH2 at all??

A list of the units using the same basic, unedited XBF, only different textures:

Harkonnen Plasma Turret/Corrino Lion Turret/HK Flame Turret

HK Inkvine Catapult/CO Siege Tank

CO Lion Tank/Ordos Guardian Tank

OR Gas Turret/OR D-Gas Turret

OR AA Trooper/OR D-gas trooper

etc...

Corrino's Revenge: Only the AT Orni/CO LasThopter. There are edited XBF's for the Lion Striker and Smuggler Trike.

2. - There were only 2 patches for KH2.

And having fewer or no patches is generally a bad thing, because no game or mod can be absolutely perfect from the very start.

^C'mon, man. If there are any bugs in CR1, they're trivial. At least all of the turrets work. You can't tell me you never once built the Lion Turret during testing? If you didn't, that's a fairly shoddy testing job. :P

^So, how do you explain away the fact that the Atreides, whose homeworld got nuked in your storyline, have to come back in less than 200 years? Read the official FAQ. :P

Oh, and by the way, congrats on persuading me to make KH3. This time we'll include AI scripts as well.

^When did I do that? Anyways, KH3: AI Scripts vs. CR2: Total Conversion. Hmm...

im fairly sure you cant make new AI scripts as the AI.rfh doesnt actually contain the AI strategy data, it just seems to contain information on how the AI uses strats that are hardcoded.

2. Yes, they're not scripts per se, they are AI behaviours.

3. They are only one of the features of KH3.

Why would KH3 compete with CR2? From what I heard, CR2 will be a total conversion based on a unique idea by you. Unlike CR1, which is basically a plagiarisation of KH. So I'm all for CR2, but not for CR1.

Hmmm... okay then. Apologies accepted. :)

It really was the "top 10 reasons" that sparked all of this. In the end, I'm glad we came to a peaceful conclusion.

And some good did come out of this: now there's gonna be a KH 3! ;)

You do know that I finished KH2's graphics before the xbf editor came out, don't you? I edited the xbfs manually, and that is all. Besides, there's nothing wrong with having two units that differ by texture alone.
