I have found the enthusiasim to go on making mods. But I need to see if the limit thing is just my computer. I am asking  if a fellow mod maker could see if my primitive no where finished version of sub house mod 2 works on their computer or if it is a complete stuff up or whatever.

I am asking to see it works or doesn't try different things like taking out units different graphics whatever

Email at you know where (you'll see it at dune editing)

I am also ready to add new icons  ;D

wil try but not enough time will seeya just can't test no time other stuff

The unit limit isn't your computer, it's the game.  It seems to be related to the amount of graphics objects or XBF files, as adding new explosions and new bullets put me over the limit as well as adding new units.  You can increase the number of units, bullets, or explosions you can add by removing others, such as incidental units.  This limit seems to make huge mods with lots of new stuff (and all the old stuff too) impractical.  However, instead of making one giant mod with everything in it, you can make more than one mod, each different, so when players get tired of playing one, they can play another one to keep the game interesting.  Of course, this calls for someone to write a mod management program, so players can easily select the mod they want to play instead of having to backup, copy, and keep track of a bunch of files.

Problem is that it gets a bit difficult if you want to use a combo that requires a new mod. This means that we must be very shrewd in what we add and what we unlock. It's possible to do a lot with the little leeway that exists.
