I'm pretty sure there are tools/programs that can tell you which files are manipulated so you only need to copy those. Or you can just look at the edit date.

well i know i can do that...

but i changed even the launcher and the name of the dat file..

so i guess i have to find a way to fix it...

I meant to add the copyright to the main menu, on the image for example.

A professional patch/MOD is better not to modify original files.

1. You use a copy of the original files with a different (but similar-eg different extension) name.

2. Ideally you do not even include those patched files in your bundle. They are created during first run (Oh yes I hate the world installation and practically any application that needs to be 'installed' on my PC to function. Portable all the way!!! Only system files, libraries and drivers need to be installed.) of the executable.

well to be honest I was in trouble..

now I'm kinda free to continue but still restrictions hold..

the mod will be released in two parts..

emperor chronicles the rise of corrino empire and epilogue expansion..

also new game launchers and my own program practise switcher will be available with it..

due to lost tym the mod will take some more tym to finish..

but now all processes to make the mod better are underway..

few more researches are still to be conducted..

especially the map before the briefing..

till I can get more good news be patient and have fun!!

As I was busy in studies my tym used on making the mod has been reduced three to four hours a week..

So I'll post my progress till now..

Fremen missions are still underway..

Harkonnen missions are being planned..

Imperial Mercenaries missions planning is stalled as we are unable to make new tilesets..

Some virus has infected my pc..

And graphics card is also working 75/25%..

Jus celebrated teachers day yesterday..

That's all for now..

To shed of some kb and mb i've remade the plans and will be separating the multiplayer from the original game and hence now will have three launchers..

And to increase the playtime of the game i'm now introducing the new challenges mode..

In challenges mode we will be able to practice skills on a hard mode and different side missions ranging with map difficulty ranging from 1-5..

If anyone is interested in making challenge maps please do tell..

I'll add any challenge missions you present..

Just make it challenging on hard mode..

We don't want the player to chicken out in the middle of a battle..

Random map will be retained in the original exe but if you want we can put this in multiplayer exe..

I'm presently trying to activate co op mode..

well honestly I was planning on reverse engineer lan mode and create co-op from it..

it'll take long time.. might not work but I need to give it a try..

atleast I could create an expansion shell during the process..

I was actually searching for the aud file in practice mode..

well as I'm now busy with studies all reverse engineering will be done on a later date..

most probably next year..

Fremen mission 1-6 are complete in expansion pack..

Challenge missions are being made on paper now..

They'll mostly by categories and within categories different difficulty..

Each map can be played with any three houses..

Categories are (this is just a first look list and might change in the final game version)

*Defense(survival)..

*Stealth..

*Offensive..

*Rescue..

*Aiding allies..

*Mission type..

And also to encourage new players i'm making a section for player made challenge maps..

Until now 18 challenges have been penned down..

More will come soon..

Imperial Mercenaries Expansion mission will need time due to my latest twist in the storyline..

What do u mean with advanced sub houses patch?

by advanced sub houses patch I'm thinkin to give all houses their own icon and reporting sounds..

and extending the score for subhouses thereby extending the number of missions..

this will extend the abilities of dune 2000..

You could use some maps that I made, but they are quite old so they are probably not too good.

I can use but I'm creating 3 new tilesets grass, ice and lava..

I'm posting the modified tilesets in d2k map editor when they are completed use that to make maps..

I can put them on if they are good And fit in the map limit..

Are these pixel artwork or made in a 3D program?

editing the original tileset and some pixel edits especially water, glacier and lava..

simple recoloring..

should it be grey or any other colour ??

I jus recolored it to match the concrete colour used by humans..

spice will be replaced by gold mine rocks..

some other tileset elements will be converted to river tileset..

I'm editing bloxwast.r16 without editing the palette..
