just  found problem,  there is only patch to play as mercenaries, but there is no patch to play as fremen.  ebcause it give same error like was getting when trying to play as  mercenary.  that why nobody can make fremen missions

actually  i have basic campagin with kill all objectives no special events, but is unusable as you cant be fremen.

i have patch by mvi but it works for all ecept fremen

It works for fremen lol, in the ixian campaign mission 4 you are actually fremen, using their index... It works for ANY index, even greater than 6 (example: Ix)

I'm just creating a Fremen Campaign and I'm just on mission 6... Everything is working for me with no errors/bug/problems... What ever :DD

found out why.   my  computer had few power outages  this damaged  hard disk  ,  had to redownload  dune install the patch, it worked. but yes. making   controlled by ai campagin is  insane  hard , for this i willl use  ai from skirmish  for better performance  i know i know  ai controlled base has alot of limitations, but there was plan  to  2 or 3 missions that way

howewershame we cannot control two houses  at one time, mean ordos and hharkonnen bases example that would be  funny

Well if you give the AI enough units they can use them decently, I mean they can be useful (ignoring the retarded unit control that AI has). One of the main problems with the dune2k AI is that it builds slow; a human player can fix that, but the retarded unit control is still there. Anyway, its an improvement :D

as said the ai needs major rework and the ol d2k team could decode it... but they kinda left and the last guy was MVI... if someone could start reverse engineering it might help...

Old D2K team? The only ones actively involved with D2K are still here. MVI even is present, even if he isn't actively releasing tools anymore.

Binary level changes are incredibly difficult even for game programmers. Especially when you need to reverse engineer someone elses work 1st.
