Just broke in the rules.ini. Here are all veteran requirements/specials etc.:

VeterancyLevel = the 'killing points' you need to promote

Health = The new health value

ExtraDamage = The extra total damage in %

CanSelfRepair = Selfhealing

Elite = Can return to barracks to train (Atreides speciality)

ExtraArmour = The extra total armour in %

ExtraRange = The range increase in %

Speed = new speed value

Are the damage percentages cumulative or what?Otherwise LEVEL 2 and LEVEL 3 VETERANS would do the exact same damage, which I do not believe is true. How is the percent of ExtraDamage calculated for each LEVEL? "Extra" compared to what???EDIT: btw what's up with your NIAB stats. You sure you posted that right? You are saying there is no diff between a LEVEL 2 and LEVEL 3 NIAB.

The percentages are what units get EXTRA. And Speed is the new speed. (I will edit it and add the old speeds)

And it's indeed strange that with the NIAB (also the projector) I can't declare that

Is the *second* (or third) Extra bonus calculated as "Extra" based on the number value of the upgraded unit, or based on the original value of the un-upgraded unit?

It's based on the amount it WAS before it got upgraded for 1 level.

So 50% on 12 will 18, when you get another bonus, it will get 27 etc.

When a unit destroys another unit, it gets some veterancy points. For some units more then others (Dev points > Scout points) When the number of point is > or = then that Veterancy level, then the unit gets promoted.

You can see that those levels are lower defined with weak units then with strong units

Well, I studied the rules.txt etc. somewhat. And I played alot.

This is a piece of the rules.txt:

[ATInfantry]

Score = 2

House = Atreides

StormDamage=138  // (2*64)+10

The score=2 means that a unit gets 2 veterancy points when it kills this AT Light Infantery.

So you have to score at least 5 points to get veteran (So killing 3 Light Infantery, or a Devastator (4 points) + a Ligth Infantery (= 2+ 4 = 6 points > 5)

WTF??!!! A devastator worths only 4 while a Light infantry worths 2 !!! this is so unequal !!

If a light infantry's storm damage does does 138, then a devastator does 1380 !!!

Where do you get this information from?

Not it's different per unit. And infantery can be picked up. And that damage must per '?' how much damage it does
