How about a micro-AI to detect if they're on sand, and, if so, switch off the shield? That would make it more advantageous to be on rock - which is correct.

As long as you nick what you can from SM quads, NIAPs, and other skirmish-unused things etc.

If you wanna guard your base well, put a group of Fremen fedaykin and a scout together with guard mode on.

They can also see hidden units and because they are cloaked it's like a suprise atack :-) It works really well.

Careful they don't do some friendly fire and get themselves killed. It's easier to send out a few scouts on patrol and pick off enemy scouts and the like with FR warriors.
