that thing is too slow, best unit yes, but never makes it to the battle in time...could have at least made it with a little longer range

Slow, yes, very slow. But you can use advance carryall. I did it in assault on Caladan. I take some devas to their base and some devas around my base and gunships. I didn`t even need much assaults, maybe some inkvines in air defence.

but if the advanced carryall gets hit with about 4 aa rockets, you lost em both

Hi all, I would like to add some kind of a strategy I think works quite well.

You make 5 Small groups of troops:

1. Assault 1: is 4 tanks and 2 Missile tanks

2. Assault 2: is 4 tanks and 2 Missile tanks

3. Anti- Infantry: 3 Flame tanks and 3 Buzzsaws

4. Demolish group: 3 Devastators with support of Advanced Caryalls

5. Optional Support: A nice pack of 20 infantrymen

This works like this, engage the enemy forces that defends the base, once you do it move the devastators near the Constr. Yard. Support them with Infanry or better with a Death Hand.

In normal mission attack as quickly as you can and in Caladan/GvsC/Drakonis build good defence, produce many units and if you have enough, send them to enemy base in 10 units group, destroy turrets with gunships and death hand to their base.

Or use the Sardaukar, and attack in the back ;D
