The Atreides Capitol

I am at the atreides capitol with the harks and i was wondering since it is kinda hard for me if you guys had any tips for me ;D

At first build very strong defence, just put your units in around your base and if you will have that defence that enemy rush will fail every time, take huge offence group with missiles, subhouses, flamers. Destroy rocket turrets on the way with inkvines and machine guns with gunships. You can send some devas with AC but not to base cos Atreides have a lot anti-air but put them near base and just walk with your devas. If you destroy turrets it will be much easer. And death hand of course.

or you can make a simpler solution of having the IX, quickly construct projectors (Perferably 3-5) project your Rocket Launcher (Harkonnen) Lazer Tanks (Ordos) and dont stop making them. In the mean time, you should have a lot of credits from concentrating on making projections. Keep making infintrators and keep em in groups of 10 and send em out to kill things.

Devastators are the perfect defence against Hawk Strikes because they are too slow to make it off the map before the effect wears off. Projectors are good to group projections for the Hawk Strike to hit. You should project Minos and Missile Tanks and send them between your base and the direction that the enemy is attacking from. NEVER group Sards or Projectors, because you WILL lose them if the Hawk Strike hits them.

Well you'll lose anything that makes it to the end of the map anyway.

That's why you should group your Devastators. They are too slow to make it off the map. If a fast unit is hit by the Hawk Strike, pick it up with an Advanced Carryall, and hold it until it goes back to normal. Then set it back down again.

I just used devastators to defend my bace from incomming attacks. And to destroy the atreides bace, just use inkvines to attack the turrets from a safe distance. Then once most of the turrets are down build a huge army of sardaukar with about 30 regular and 20 elite and attack from the side entrace and the sards will wipe the bace out. Once they get the remaining turrets move in with ground forces and take the bace. And btw there are feds guarding the front entrance so watch where you leave units cause there there one min gone the next =)
