The indoor picture looks neat. But the amount of resources to build that (I presume underground?) would be a lot. And don't they have earthquakes in that area?

I could certainly see smaller versions made (say the size of walmart underground).

I was asking myself the same question (earthquakes). Looks interesting though.

You know, when I read the word sietch my first thought was about the pc game Dune (first part) when you have to drink the water of life. I still have that image right in front of me. Funny how some things (unimportant obviously) can be remembered even after such a long time.

Well then. They've certainly adopted a rather pragmatic view on possible future events, haven't they....

Still, seems to be a much more viable solution to the water shortage than some I've heard of. Such as Desalination and piping of water from the Gulf to the area.
