Khan
I love his account - AIM: REALNAME. Sounds convincing...
Wolf
You know, Penny Arcade once had a podcast a few years ago where they said that the true apex of guerrilla/"viral" marketing would be corporate domination of gaming message boards and forums like ours. What's terrifying is that I think it's really starting to catch on and this may not even be a bot--but a real, live, bored-as-hell human being doing this for a pathetic, $20K, 9-to-5 job because that's all his worthless community college degree could get him, because it certainly won't get him laid... Well, that's what I hope at least.*EDIT: Even more offensive, go check out the latest members to have registered under "Forum Stats". We got a guy whose personal website is "online casino." I suppose that if they don't post, they don't hurt, but to think that we're dedicating any sort of resources toward maintaining their accounts doesn't sit well with me. Dunenewt
I do think we need a cull of members who have no posts. Obviously I don't have the power to do this myself, but I volunteer to do it if someone gives me those powers.
Dante
Let me do it. I can be trusted. >:D
Wolf
Oh, definitely let Dante do it.
Edric O
We already have quite a few moderators with the power to make inconvenient people disappear - er, I mean, delete accounts. I can do that, for example. Heh heh heh...But anyway, I think Gob already takes time every few months to delete all accounts older than X years who have no posts. SandChigger
I'm vaguely disturbed by the "as above" bit.Huh?
Dunenewt
I think its just spam, doesn't seem to be in reference to anything in the thread.

Dunenewt
Too early in the morning for double entendres, or anything similar. All these new posts, and still noone new seems to have read the book.
MrFlibble
All these new posts, and still noone new seems to have read the book.I thought the topic was about having bought the book, not having actually read it :DIn all seriousness though, we need more interesting topics about Dune, rather than just "Have you read the new book? - Yeah. - Okay." stuff.
