Dunenewt
Has anyone been watching the new series of Top Gear?
Khan
I've seen a few but living with two girls means Strictly Come Dancing has priority. Apparently. Saw yesterday's episode that was really interesting about the hydrogen car, I wonder if it will ever be able to go mainstream or will the harvesting get too expensive? Dunenewt
I just watched that on BBC iPlayer. Yeah, I hope that cell car does go mainstream, but we'd need all the facilities over here to run such a car as well, such as the refuelling pumps. Dragoon Knight
I've been watching Top Gear since just before Dave arrived on Freeview. I have to say it's one of my favourite shows on TV today. Mind you, I don't watch it for the cars - those are just detritus that get in the way of the real entertainment; Clarkson, Hammond and May.Seriously, the things they get up to and the way they act / speak is hilarious. And don't even get me started on the genius that is The Stig. :P
Dante
I don't have a TV. :)

Dunenewt
Why don't you like it?
Dante
The jokes aren't funny. Once that becomes evident, it's just so much car talk.
nemafakei
I abstain from it for ethical reasons.

gryphon
I watch anything with Jeremy Clarkson in it. :)
bob_fox
Top Gear is one of the best shows in the world. I don't think there's anything as entertaining on TV. The combination of irritable, smug and stubborn Clarkson with know-it-all "Captain Slow" and the young hot-head "Hamster" is unbeatable. And all their challenges are so ambitious - they easily outdo The Myth Busters, and it's just a car show! And I love how Clarkson challenges all the orthodox views on environmentalism. I don't think he always knows what he's talking about, but it's still brilliant.I try to keep up with the series, but I think I've missed the last few episodes.
