Obesity is result of worrying too much about what you eat and not doing enough activity. The reason the study doesn't find the book reading as the behavior that causes obesity even though it also sitting and not mooving behavior is because how many people read these days?

I sit in front of a computer way too much each and every day. But I am underweight. Now if I were to switch to a job that did not involve physical activity or have a lifestyle that involved physical activity, I am sure I would be fat. I've seen it happen to people.

Eat healthy and exercise is the only solution. Diets do not work in the long term. Lifestyle changes do.

I guess it's mostly about self control and discipline.

I am behind the computer alot but I don't have any excess fat.

Just when I eat, I eat till I have enough, not till I am filled.

I work aswell and use the bike on weekends.

A bit of paying attention to what you eat and a tiny bit of exercise do wonders already.
