She had elementary school finished at age 5.She made the jump to college at age 10. And by age 14, Sabur was earning a bachelor

Dunenewt
I'm surprised there's no mention of Dune in the article, given the similarities.

gunner154
Apocalyptic, but it's only a matter of time...Anybody thought about the real life Hayt then?
Dunenewt
There was an author called Peter De Vries, I think. Speaking of Hayt, I watched The 6th Day last night, which dealt with clones who were given the memories of their previous lives, although in some cases more than one version of the same person exists at the same time. Their memories were preserved onto a disk.
gunner154
Smells like a nullentropy capsule to me. Without the genes.
Dunenewt
Oh, I forgot, a person's genes are recorded onto the disk too, but using a different device to the one which stores the memories.
MrFlibble
When I watched the movie, I definitely thought: Tleilaxu. I bet the plot was at least partially influenced by Herbert's works.Alia looks more mature than her real age. I'm glad there are people like her, perhaps there will be more of them in the future :)
Dunenewt
Yes, that's what I thought as well, especially the way because the way most of humanity viewed it in the movie, reminded me of the Tlulax in the Legends of Dune, because some powerful people knew, but kept it secret.
