Kill them. Kill them all!

Newt, you're approaching a Kirbyish level of stupid questions that seem designed to increase post count. Cut it out, would you?

They're young, yes.

The Zoologist in me was just curious that's all, which made me go to the Wikipedia page on the topic, and so I discovered that the squirrels in your posts were in fact baby North American Red Squirrels.

Also, on the Wikipedia page, I think I have found the best squirrel picture yet, here

They should introduce Flying Squirrels to this country, they're much better.

I do think it would be a shame to just kill all the Grey Squirrels, as they are very friendly animals, and especially near where I live, there are several people who just come to parks to see and feed them.  Couldn't we just move them, and set up special Red Squirrel only areas, although it does annoy me that the damn Red Squirrel is too dumb to adapt to compete.

You thought wrong.

Partially correct in that the reds are gentler, have a trickier diet, and are smaller, but also they have a greatly reduced resistance to a disease that the greys are mostly alright with.

It's a bit like when the Spanish introduced smallpox into central America. "Stupid Aztecs, you can't adapt! Haha, look at all those sores! It's hilarious."
