So I woke at 04:15 to see the moon in its Umbra phase. Instead of a nice colored moon, I could get a very clear view of all the fog outside.

Really? I couldn't recall. I only remember the one about Mars coming near or something, and the sky was reddish or purplish or something. It was beautiful.

You could clearly see Saturn to the left of the moon. And a distant star to the north of the moon.

How in the world could you see Saturn? Unfortunatly I missed the eclipse because no one told me it would be appearing, not even the news/newspaper/my mom/my family told me...

People can normally see the different planets in our star system. It was just aligned near the moon very well.
