Well, just got back from the movie and BOY! did my man-crush on Johnny Depp grow enormous! I encourage ye land dwellers, and the occasional toilet dweller, to partake in the bounty of this movie! It's great! It's grand! It's... Jack Sparrow bitches!

It must be erjin ;)

Hey Jeff, did you like the desert part? I thought it was hilarious, but I've heard from others that it was stupid.

A friend of mine said the same thing, then I slapped his ass.  I laughed at it, but then how can someone not laugh at anything Johnny Depp does.

Man I feel like kicking some ass right now.  Haven't seen such a good movie in a while.

To be honest, thought it was to long. A nice film to end with as even the characters all knew eachother. Not the big thing like the first one. Just more like the last episode of a TVseries in which the actors all act personal towards eachother.

Just finished watching Pirates 2. WTF?

somewhat spoiler

Don't bother explaining how, just say if it is explained in the 3rd movie.

Yes, it is explained...somewhat.

I will add that this movie has one of the most convoluted plots I've seen in a long time. Either you can try really hard to follow all the intertwining story lines, or just content yourself to enjoy the ride. :)

I don't really see what's convoluted about it...

*SPOILERS!!! ALL OF THEM!*

[hide]In exchange for being the captain of the Black Pearl for 13 years or so, Capt. Sparrow promised as a debt to be a worker on the Flying Dutchman. He got the ship, but tried to flee the debt. But, Davy Jones caught up with him and then Sparrow came up with another deal: in place of him being imprisoned on the ship he promised to bring hundreds of souls instead. But the whole time he planned on finding the key to the chest of Davy Jones' heart in order to get rid of Davy Jones for good. He found the key, and the chest, but was not able to get rid of Jones because Sparrow was betrayed by Elizabeth. The third movie comes in with Sparrow's end of the betrayal stuck in Jones' locker (an alternate plane of existence), then being rescued by the other crew but only to have all the pirate captains unseal the curse they put on Calypso so she can stop the Eastern Trading Company from taking over the seas. Then of course Calypso is free and William Turner dies but then stabs the heart of Jones and becomes the captain (the catch of stabbing the heart is that you become the captain of the Flying Dutchman) and waits 10 years to come back to his love, Elizabeth. See? Not too bad ;)[/hide]

Was bored today so I saw the movie again.  Still kicking ass. 8)  What gets me is that even though this movie has been out for over two weeks and Oceans Twelve is out.  The theater still had a crap load of people.  Now either everyone there was like me and had already seen the movie or either nobody cares to stay after the credits to see if there is an added scene.  I felt lonely sitting there for ten minutes for a twenty second scene but who cares.

My Peanut! ;D
