Egeides
They invented some device sending allegedly non-damageable micro-waves forcing whoever is in range to run away (they call it "Goodbye effect", good on crowds). They tried on army people and none resisted more than 5 seconds because the pain was too intense.http://www.wired.com/news/technology/0,72134-0.html?tw=wn_index_37Soon in a black box office near you. GUNWOUNDS
Causes excruciating pain within seconds. What if the "target" is constrained? The potential for this technology to be used in torture "suspects" is quite alarming.Leaves no marks.Next time you go to publicly demonstrate against your government, do not forget to take a microwaveable dinner withyou, they forgot to mention it bakes a potato in 15 seconds ! gunner154
Would an effective counter be available soon? What about folks in armour? How about donning tanks with polarisers? :P
Caid Ivik
about those armors and tanks I wouldn't joke that much...see the recent hungarian demonstrationhttp://www.sme.sk/c/2963483/demonstranti-ukradli-rusky-tank-doplnene-video.html
Khan
What was happening in that vid? (what was the context?)As for wearing armour, the last article I read said they hadn't tried it on anyone wearing even the slightest bit of metal, such as a watch, as it would create 'hot spots' which would be too dangerous. Too bad crowds won't get the same warning.
