Anyone know of any sites where I can learn about Ridley Scott's proposed Dune movie?

No, Mahdi I have not heard of Ridley Scott being assocated with a proposed Dune movie. There's talk of him doing two war movies but it's just talk at the moment.

I should have been more clear, I mean back in the 80's when he was competing with Lynch to direct the De Launtrabha;khg;(don't know how to spell his name) movie.

I don't know of any websites, but I posted one article at the Landsraad (repasted) that dealt with Ridley Scott and Dune.

Dino fired Ridley after his script included an incest love scene between Jessica and Paul. Scott did Blade Runner and Lynch was hired to write a new script and direct.

i think if ridley scott should have made the dune movie it would have been alot better than david lynches redition. lynch is a very odd director. but he did do a good job on alien 3.

The Paul/Jessica love scene wuld have been a hell of a lot worse than anything Lynch did.
