Why there're no official page of Emp. ??? (Have they forget about emp players?)

Westwood exist but it insn't independent.It's property of EA andthere is a reason that westwood support only games that are profitable...

If westwood wom't give EA profits EA will close westwood studios...... :-

uh.. ? As far as I can follow, the following happened:

- The team that was behind RA2 (a group of westwood people) had many succes.

- EA decided to split that team (the RA2 team) away from the original westwood, and they gave that team their own little dependent company: EA pacific.

- After the release of CnC Generals and CnC Generals Rush hour EA noticed that EA pacific was functioning worse than before, so they putted the original westwood and EA pacific back together, named: EALA

- Before and after the release of Battle for Middle Earth, many employees of old Westwood left EALA, some ex-westwood-topman went to blizzard, many ex-westwood-employees started their own independent company: Petroglyph (now working on Empire at War), many ex-westwood-employees are still in EALA...

I just wanna say, nowadays there isn't a real 'Westwood' anymore, why ?

Maybe you could see EALA as the new westwood, or Petroglyph as the new westwood... but I don't

I would prefer to say that Westwood Studios exists no more. What a pity. Maybe I'm just pessimistic :)

I know that game wasn't bestseller but the emp. players exist even that there are no westwood & there is quite big group of emp. players not only few people

NEWSFACT: Mark Skaggs (responsible for emperor, command & conquer series, bfme,...) left EA. He found together with 2 other fella's a their own company named Trilogy Studios.

simple fact a lack of marketing saw the demise of emperor, still the best rts around IMO graphic and game play stil hold up to this day. ;D
