Help! ??? ???
Acriku
What happened was all you did was delete crust of the pie. There should be install/uninstall features that came with the mods, and you should have executed the uninstallation file, because just deleting folders will not delete registries and .dll files. Those take up quite a bit of memory if you keep neglecting to fully uninstall files. You probably deleted the
Timenn
But if you already deleted them, you can't remove them from the registry with the windows-registry cleaner. There is a program on the net, called RegCleanr. With that you can remove it. Sorry can't remember the url. But I can send it.
Gobalopper
The mods shouldn't affect your registry at all. All they do is replace the data files of Dune 2000. If you didn't back up the old Dune 2000 files then you will have to re-install the game.
Timenn
When you install something it comes in the registry. But you probably meant something else with that. Sorry my mistake :-X :-[
Gobalopper
Well you don't really install the mods, you just copy over the files. Most mods for Dune 2000 don't even offer uninstall options as far as I know.
Acriku
Man much different than Rogue Spear mods, they change everything. Registry, files, .dll files, etc. Thanks for the clearing up Gob :)
Timenn
Well, for what I thought, a mod can change everything. Except for the source itself.
Mentat_Li
To uninstall a MOD:uninstall your Dune 2000!the mod is deleted!Don't delete your save games!unless you save with your mod. :othen install again and the mod will disappear! ;D
aox0m0xoa
do the dune mods actually overwrite the game files, or do they add files that replace the original ones? if its the latter of the two you can just look in the zip your mod came in and delete the files that are listed from your directory
