Final Fantasy VII - Advent Children

Thank you.  Thank you God.  My prayers have been answered in the form of this trailer (22MB, so big wait for dial-up users).

I can't stop watching this trailer.  I have had it on constant repeat for over half an hour, and have only paused this sequence to post this new topic.  My life now revolves around this movie, and the watching thereof.

Final Fantasy VII is the best RPG in the world, bar none.  This movie will be the greatest in the world, by the looks of that trailer.  Some may not agree with this... these people have not experienced Final Fantasy VII the way I have.

Upon watching this movie, my life shall be complete.  I go now to continue watching the trailer and mop up the vast quantities of drool - and perhaps other assorted bodily fluids :P - that it induces.

Coulda swore I saw that trailer 6 months ago. Or something similiar that had to do with final fantasy movie.

It's being made in Japan or somewhere over there right?

Didn't know they had guns or motorcycles in Final Fantasy.

At least it looks more like the game than the other final fantasy movie. :P

It's based 2 years after Final Fantasy VII, while the other movie (The Spirits Within) wasn't based on a game at all; just the series in general.

Final Fantasy VII has guns, swords, motorbikes, cults, pyramids, high-tech airships, space rockets, magic, summons, and a kick-ass storyline.  And this movie shall be all that and more. :D

You know, it's too bad you said the movie's being held back for release here. Considering that probably means that most of the world will get to see it before you do. And that they'll probably set it back again, and again. And maybe never release it here at all. Those guys in Japan sure are lucky, aren't they? It looks like such a good movie.

Fans and people who may actually have some "inside info" say that it might be released in the U.S. in about April or May.  I'd estimate more of a Summer release... they'd be hyping it up a lot more if that were the case.  Either way, as soon as there's an English version of the movie, it's getting imported. :D

I think I saw a picture online when I was browsing for some pictures of Cloud going in for an Omnislash.  What got me excited was it was the movie Cloud... so chances are that he'll be Omnislashing baddies again. :D
