Download it. It's obviously anti-spyware. It picked-up 18 seperate cases, and 38 overall of spyware on my machine that spybot and adaware completely ignored. Also, it takes preventive measures and asks you if you want to block any browser changes that you get while viewing infected sites. Simply put, this program is amazing.

Methinks that Microsoft is getting a little green under the gills, there.  Anti-Virus programs and Anti-Spy/Adware Programs can pick up the strangest things as being harmful.  For example, AVG thinks that some components from my Java 2 SDK are Trojans. ???

Don't forget TeamSpeak.. . which according to almost all major antivirus software seems to be a virus...

I got it and used it and was suprised, it actually seemed good. I am waiting to find out whats wrong, what the "catch" is...

Also, there's a deeper scan if you guys didn't know. Under "quick scan" click "scan options" and go to the second option, check all the possibilties, and scan.

The problem is it is a resource hog when I used it. Not when it was scanning, but just opening it and such.

It's really a good proggy, but I kinda keep thinking the same thing, whats the catch? and when will it happen?

The program's actual full-release doesn't matter so much as they're continually updating this one.

java has some components that sortof act like trojan downloaders... and acctually, java is one of the easyest ways to get someone to download a virus and not know about it... i do NOT trust java in any way...
