The server is in the Pacific timezone, so GMT -8, and you can add or subtract the time based on that. I'm in Mountain, GMT -7 so I add 1 hour to the server time. Changing the value there will convert the post times and whatnot to your own timezone which makes it easier to read imo.

OK, sorry for the double-post, but this is urgent. :O

Good News: Age 4 has started.

Bad News: The KOC Admins have introduced a new feature which makes the current clicker crash and die.  It's a race against time to see which alliance can get a new clicker coded the quickest, and our programmer (Lor), has buggered off somewhere.

For now, do the following.  I'll update you all as soon as humanly possible. :)

KINGS OF CHAOS: AGE 4 STARTUP GUIDE

IF YOU ARE A RETURNING KINGS OF CHAOS USER...

1. Go to the Kings of Chaos Homepage, enter your login information as you did before, then follow the steps there to re-activate your KOC account.

NOTE: You can opt to be a different race now that the Age has changed.  If you are intending to click (when we can actually click), then it is highly recommended that you go Humans.  The income bonus they receive will aid you a lot.

2. Go to the Phoenix Rising Sign-Up Instructions thread.  Follow the instructions given there, register, and post the answers to the questions asked in a NEW THREAD in this forum.

3. Keep an eye on the thread.  Very soon, a Moderator will reply asking you to PM them from inside KOC to confirm your username.  Do so, and then wait until your thread appears in this forum.  When it does, you're part of Phoenix Rising (PR). :)

4. Go to this page, and follow the instructions given to register for Wildfire, PR's click chain.  Enter all of your details correctly, and select Wildfire User from the drop-down list of alliances.  Make sure everything is correct.  If you don't have an email address that isn't Hotmail, don't worry.  Your password is shown on-screen even IF Hotmail block it. :P

IF YOU ARE A NEW KINGS OF CHAOS USER OR ARE MAKING A NEW ACCOUNT...

A. New users / accounts should follow this link and not the one in Step 1 above.  Once there, click the numbered button that corresponds to the number written in the picture that is shown... try to get it right first time; if you don't, you'll have to wait about 3 minutes before you can try again.

B. Once you've successfully clicked the button, you'll be presented with a page that gives you the option to "Join the War!".  Click this link, and sign up for a KOC account.

NOTE: If you are intending to click (when we can actually click), then it is highly recommended that you go Humans.  The income bonus they receive will aid you a lot.

C. Follow Steps 2 to 4 above to complete your KOC initiation.

UPDATE 1 - OK, so far they've come out with two more versions of ClickWhore.  We seem to be adapting well.  I'll post the final confirmation of what to so soon.

UPDATE ON KINGS OF CHAOS CLICKING SITUATION

OK, there's a bug in the new Kings of Chaos clicking system that means you can just click away happily with total disregard for image matching. :)

First, go to this page.  This is the ClickWhore page, where you can download the program itself.  It's only about 150 - 200KB, so no problem even for 56k connections. :)

NOTE: As it says on the page, if you are having problems with a missing file, download the .OCX file that is available.  That should sort things out.

The version should be 2e or later... no other version will work.

After that, you'll need to change some IE settings temporarily.  Inside Internet Explorer, go to Tools, Internet Options.  Click on the Advanced Tab, then under the Multimedia heading, untick the box that says "Show pictures".  Now, start up ClickWhore and do the following.

1. Make sure and select a decent number of windows to open.  Choose the maximum of 25 if you have 512MB of RAM or more, choose about 15 - 20 for anything less.

2. Click start and log on to Wildfire.  The page might look funny, but that's because there are no pics being displayed.  This is a good thing. :)  As soon as you login, minimise the window.

3. Your taskbar will go crazy and open tons of windows.  Don't worry about it.  Wait a while, then your screen will go crazy with loads of windows popping up.  When they've all popped up, you'll see the KOC Recruit page for the first user in the click list.

4. You'll notice that the image is not displayed.  It'll just be a box with the text "Click on #" in it.  Click on it... the click will be accepted, and you didn't have to do anything. :)

5. If it says "Cannot Find Server", click the Skip button in ClickWhore.  After a while, it will look like the windows have run out... this is due to KOC server lag, and the windows will keep popping up, but more slowly.  Keep clicking and skipping as required, but when it gets TOO slow (i.e. it takes about 1 minute for a window to pop up), click the QUIT button in ClickWhore.

It is VERY IMPORTANT that you don't just exit ClickWhore, otherwise your clicks won't count.  After it's closed, open ClickWhore again and repeat the above steps.  Click lots to get big quickly! :)

BIGGER UPDATE!!

OK, they've changed the recuiter AGAIN.  Since the images weren't loading, the KOC Admins weren't getting any revenue from the banner ads, which would explain why they changed it so fast.  It's back to the old system.

What to do now is simple... download ClickWhore 2e as usual, but all you have to do is click the appropriate number, i.e. if "f-i-f-t-e-e-n" is displayed in the picture, click the 15 button.  This will count as 1 click.  Keep clicking to get big. :)

Bit of both, really.  You click to get more men, which means more Gold.  This is important, but also important is what you DO with the Gold.

Kings of Chaos does require strategy, but it also requires clicking if you want to go really far. :)

It's OK if you don't want to click.  ClickWhore has a keyboard mode that lets you use the numpad instead.  You should join, even if you don't want to click.

I managed to get Rank 2804 out of about 160,000 last age without any clicking at all, so it's worth a shot. :)

If you want to give it a try, look for my post on Page 2 of this thread that will tell you how.  Keyboard mode is much easier, and doesn't hurt the wrist so much.  It would be really great to have another officer. :)
