Another Holiday Season Over

Tommorow marks the end of the holiday season.

Two weeks is not long enough. Not this year anyway. Have to say this has been the best Christmas break I've had in years. Usually after this long at home I'm about ready to head on out again, but not this time. Everythings going along nice and smoothly and feels wrong to leave now. Another couple weeks would be much better.

But, 'tis not to be. School starts tuesday.

So i'm heading back to Ottawa in, oh, 7 hours or so and although I'm pretty much packed I feel like I'm missing a lot of stuff. Probably figure out what on wensday.

So, what are your thoughts on the past holiday season?

I still have a few more days myself, but i too feel that there should be more time off this year.  It's hard for me to go back to my normal schedule after having such a nice relaxation period.  o well, i suppose i must, and will do so, could be worse right?

I have one more week, so not over yet. But this past winter break has been one of my best as well. I basically spent my time with these girl twins from work, about a year younger than me. They're basically two of my closest friends now, despite the mere 6 months of being with each other. Spending it with those who you love is what makes any day worth living. Without them it would have been a typical break.

I still have a week left too. But in the last week I redecorated my room. It now has red and white colors, and it all looks really nice. I started with it in the summer holidays, and did nothing in the all the weeks between, but now it is finally finished.

Oh, and I've made some family visits too.

And this week will probably just be a normal week, with the difference that I have nothing to do...

I was actually not too broken up about getting back into the swing of things......until I got to school and then I thought of how badly I was mistaken. So much shit to do and so little time......  :-

School starts Wednesday for me. Thursday for my roomates. (they have a lab on wednesday, no labs first week of school)

Hope I'm still in BBA major. Will see tomorrow. If I am still in BBA and taking 5 courses, this semester should be twice as busy as last semester. Groupwork Galore!!

Spent over $80 in food today!! Thank goodness I had $40 in gift certificates.

And I bought some cheap winter boots for when I have to walk through snow to get to school.

Spent 1 week this Christmas in pain and on drugs for my wisdom teeth, then partied some.

Bought a quart of rum before it went off sale in December. Might drink it in a month. :)

EDIT - OMG, they havn't put up January's monthly promotions for liquor products. I'm gonna have to email them again. They probably think I'm an alcoholic or a cheapo. Or they havn't started work since the new year. I'll wait till the weekend.

2nd EDIT - Actually I spent $103.43 on groceries (51 items) and I could have spent more. :(

But I earned 9 airmiles. ;)

3rd edit - OMG I got ripped off. I had 2 $20 gift certificates but it says I only had 1 $20 and 1 $10. They only come in $20 denominations! I'm sooooo going back tomorrow. >:(

4th EDIT - Turns our they were for $20 and $10. :-[
