the frigate has been designed with real legos, real legos are faster for big models. the frigate can load/unload at least 4 units. unfortunately i have no real picture.

small units have been designed directly with MLCad, virtual legos are faster for small models.

i have made no buildings other than silot and windtrap :-

sure an emperor palace would be really cool :D

do not dismantle your own before you can get pictures or model it with MLCad...

it's impossible to measure.

time is spent mainly at planning, not with bricks in hands.

i always go from bottom to top.

so, surprisingly, the most difficult is to build the base platform.

because all is derived from the base platform.

when i encounter a difficulty i stop building.

then i resume when i feel i can progress.

the way to progress is a mix of intuition and planning.

it can take days, weeks or months.

How about suggesting it to the company that made Lego (whatever it is) and do some business! Open our young to the amazing world of Dune! Let them not have nightmares about boogeymen but about Shai-Hulud...

don't even think about a Dune LEGO theme, the lego company make toys for youngsters, mostly less than 10 years :(

also Dune has some non "child-friendly" material.

the LEGO company is one of the most secretive european companies.

making them to produce a fan-made lego set is an almost impossible mission.

despite, i will prospect for whether there is some chance...

in home i have some lego,  but i used it to build starships,  but i think about making construction yard.  but i need yet think how to do it .  my sister made wind trap too, but soon i get images of my project and i put it here. i have unfinished construction yard only. cos i dont know how to finish top and this arm and chimneys yet.

These are some nice models!

That's what I like about the people of dune, if a painter likes dune (like shy) he'll paint pictures of dune, same goes to a talented lego constractor.

I bet warcraft and generals dont have people like that!
