Yes, I mean .wav files. I wrote it wrong. :P

How can I use winamp to change them, I really don`t know.

I believe what you do is go into preferences, output, and select Nullsoft diskwriter plugin. Select a directory for the output. Then start playing your music and it should start making them into wav files.

I would recommend making your playlist first, then start at the first song (at top) and it should go through and make them all into wav in the directory (folder) you selected.

It uses a lot of processing power, so I wouldn't be doing anything when you start to do it.

EDIT - Also .wav files are big so make sure you got lots of space when you make em! (if you are converting songs, especially say 16 for a CD, would take up 650-700mb)

Is that the standard sound recorder in windows ? Doesnt that have a 60 second limit ?

Or was that only when I last used it ?

When I converted Wavs to mp3s I found something called Xing something which did the job.
