One of my first reactions to the cut scenes was "What bad acting!" The other was,"Ha ha ha, that guy has bushy eyebrows!" The voice acting isnt so great either. The thing that annoys me most is the missuse of the fremen language. They said that Bi-La Caifa means "long live the fighters" when it really means "amen". Ya hya chouhada means long live the fighters. Its kind of unnerving for a nerd like me.

Dune 2000: Long Live the Fighters was the title for Dune2k. If I remember correctly they used Ya Hya Chouhada correctly in that game so not using it right in Emperor seems a little weird. The acting in Westwood games has always been considered bad by some people, personally I liked the rendered cutscenes they had in earlier games... even the acting in the original C&C was pretty good.

Yeah, it was good considering they didnt have a big, Hollywood budget. One moment, at the last cutscene (CGI battle with worm and flyover of desert) the voice acting in that scene about prophecy sent chills up and down my spine.
