Well, foreign observers are reporting fauls. Juscenko already rallied about 50 thousand people in Kiev, altough it was also his strongest bastion. Janukovic is usually presented as Kucma's man, but about Juscenko I heard same, hard to say who would be better.

In Romania Basescu was elected president.

And our soon-to-be-former-president Iliescu tried to free 45 convicts giving them amnesty. One of them is Miron Cozma the miner leader that led the miners to Bucharest more than 2 times in riots and revolts. He has been re-arrested in Timisoara, though, when due to public pressure, Iliescu abandoned his ideas of amnesty.
