As stated above don't bother dl'n the 5 disk needed for the game from bit tor or any other site, you need four separate registration codes, just to play. Either shell out the dough for a PS2 version (which comes with a HD expansion for the PS2; thats why its so expensive) or just buy the PC version like I did. Beside the PC version looks a lot better on monitor than the PS2 on a TV.

Doh that's what the illegal servers are for  :P I played Raganrok Online on a illegal server and had as much fun. The cd's that u can dl from torrent ar the cd's for the illegal servers. I believe it's quite....inneficient to pay for mmorpg  ::)

How to get into the beta...?

Only if u were on the Square Enix Mailing List and you were invited on to the beta.  Don't worry, even i missed out on it.  From all the people I know applied for it, only 2 people were accepted.

Exactly, if the official servers would have at least some specialty like in Ultima Online, but in these things like Ragnarok...
