I haven't seen the clip. Why should I? I imagine there is physical pain involved... serious physical pain. And what else exactly? Emotional pain? Mental pain? What else is in that clip, do tell me, please.

then why the hell do you bother debating on a subject where you don't know the facts. But if you're so fucking hardcore why don't you go watch it and come back and tell me you didn't feel a thing, then I'll personally recommand you to a psychiatrist.

Unfortunately Nick Berg is not alive today to tell us about the pain he felt but I imagine you woldn't care you sick little man.

The cell example was allegorical.

And as your reality can't shrink because when you've watched something, this clip, for example, you know it's real even though before you thought stuff like that never happened, you can deny it by saying it was set up or something.

You can always deny that something is true.

I can say the sky isn't blue because I may be hallucinating and then it may appear blue although it's in a different colour.

Perhaps not very good examples, but they should do.

denying is ok, denying makes reality and pain go away so we don't have to feel bad about watching an innocent man suffer.

great . .amateur philosophy .. .I like that cyborg

you can always pretend to live in your own world. . with your own rules and your own history. .

Although real people don't have that luxory. .they have to live in the world as every one else . .and can't pretend that things havn't happend ...

I'm asking you a question you know. If you can't answer it just say so.

The way you put it up, is so simple, but that's because you don't have to feel anything right, you don't feel pain on behalf of others, it's just a John Doe in your eyes. You haven't seen the clip and decapitation is a humane way to die.

Well let my try to draw you a picture they don't just cut his head of in one stroke, it takes some time all while you can hear him scream, can your sick little head imagine the agony Nick Berg was in? but then again why should you care.

You have no choice in accepting or denying anything around you.

It will happen. They only thing you can do is preventing the event if you don't like it.

Why indeed. I can imagine the pain, though probably not realistically. I don't need to. I asked if there was anything but pain and you have answered that there was pain pain pain, more pain, lots of pain, terrible pain. Nothing else? Apparantly not.

The whole discussion is actually based on one utterly stupid thing...

Whether or not you get sick from watching real violence.

That must be up to each and everyone.

I just never get sick. You do. Stop bringing sickness up.

no so you don't have to feel anything, you can go sleep in your bed tonight and don't feel sick cause pain is temporary, for Nick Berg death must have been sweet release.

No, I felt nothing when going to bed.

Although I thought it was very sad that he had to pass away for those people to show their point.

grow up Dustscout.

I fail to see how asking you to explain the importance of your point is immature. Granted the language was perhaps a bit curtailed but still...

you mean the Islamic fundamentalists?

Nick Berg was an innocent American civilian, what do they show by exacuting him? That they have no moral what so ever?

Posted

Or possibly that they feel so strongly for their point that they are prepared to go this far...

doesn't that make you wonder what we [ or just the US ] has done to them inorder for it to come thisfar ?

If you want to watch someone die, I suggest going to a hospital and watching someone with cancer die over many months. Then a person will not want to see someone die. (Unless you are wanting to see a quick death/beheading, if so then watch some action/horror movies.)

And you could argue how many people watched the planes crash into the Twin towers? Almost everyone, which basicly killed thousands of people.

I dunno what I am talking about. :)

then we haven't evolved JACK FUCKING SHIT since the middleages, and then we aren't better than the people doing these acts.

How is this? Its not that WE have not evolved its that they havent.....

You are flying off the handle way too much.....

Yes it is a terrible thing and it has caused pain and suffering of not only him and his family but many other people.....I am one of them....I watched the video to get a wider perspective of the whole thing because I cannot debate something I havent witnessed......I admit it is horrorific and discusting....But,

Flipping out and saying " OH MY GOD THIS IS FRIGGEN SICK HOLY SHIT I CANT BELIEVE IT WHAT CAN WE DO, O YOU ARNT FREAKING OUT TOO WELL THAN YOU ARE A INHUMANE FREAK!!!!"

We all feel bad for the guy and wish it would not have happened but it did....We all think it is a terrible act that is barbaric to say the least......But, Whats done is done and being upset will do nothing for Nick Berg....his fate has already been decided..

I am not trying to go after you im just trying to say simply......

Point the inhumanity finger at the Iraqi's.....they are the cause of this.
