Evolving opposable thumbs does not change our instincts. Among them a desire for security, a reflexive reaction to our own pain, and a penchant to enjoy/be fascinated by/be curious of the pain of others. We're only human.

Look. I didn't see it for entertainment.

I felt compassion for him and I despised what they did to him.

I just didn't get sick. I never get sick, except if I eat bad food.

This just makes me sick, but if you feel that way there's swinger clubs where you can go watch people who actually enjoys the pain. Personally I doubt that Nick Berg or his family did. But why should you care right? it's not your reality, you can just close your eyes and make it go away.

How philosophical. . . things don't exist untill you have thought of them . . .and your mind can emagine them. .. so why do things no one has ever thought of exists. . .because they eists inthe mind of God. .

that's they point you where refering to ?

anways. . the point you want to make. . . we have created the circumstances for this video ourselfs. .?

I find it strange . that upto this point no American has been asking the question what have we done to them that they think it's legit and justified to do these things to us.

But then. . .in your reality this video probably was never made. ...

No, once you've seen it, it won't go away.

You can expand your reality, not shrink it.

However you can deny it.

same with the video. . .we can deny it. . .and I guess you know which prommise will follow. . and that will make you sick. ...

You can deny it huh? Are you sure you aren't hidden in that little cell of yours again?

I don't need to. I acknowledge reality, I see that others call it 'sick' and similar words. I don't need to make it go away because, frankly, I don't care. It's harsh, sure, but I don't know this guy. I never did. And though I sympathise with those that this incident has harmed, I don't empathise with them. It just doesn't involve me. I don't enjoy the pain of people I've never met, I don't feel anything towards it at all.

Why shouldn't you?

Many people deny that their kids are dead, even though they are, for example.

That is how extreme the denial can be...

You have just spoken about reality, then starts to speak about denial. Those two things don't match. Do you think that because you deny what happens, reality will alter to your visions?

Why? There is a code of what people 'should' feel?

it makes me sick to see that people can sit by and watch such a clip and then say in doesn't move me at all. In my eyes such people are sick wether or not you can get it on written I don't know, ask Doc.

nampigai, don't try to find errors in me everywhere.

I think you know what I mean by denying reality.

I don't has it something to do with that little cell?

... just curious... what is the "cell" he speaks of ?

read the posts

What else is it?

Have you seen the clip or not dust? A man is having his head sat off while alive and undrugged, but I guess in your little world that's the same to fall from the bike and get a scratch?

read the topic about that. . .

it's retalliation on some one who has nothing to do with the concept in an inhuman way. .. or maybe more a humain way then we tend to admit to our civilised world. ..

The cell example was allegorical.

And as your reality can't shrink because when you've watched something, this clip, for example, you know it's real even though before you thought stuff like that never happened, you can deny it by saying it was set up or something.

You can always deny that something is true.

I can say the sky isn't blue because I may be hallucinating and then it may appear blue although it's in a different colour.

Perhaps not very good examples, but they should do.

I haven't seen the clip. Why should I? I imagine there is physical pain involved... serious physical pain. And what else exactly? Emotional pain? Mental pain? What else is in that clip, do tell me, please.
