QM Settings - Get Your Facts Down

First of all: Quickmath settings take more balls than 10k, that's why 10k...wasn't LADDER. So please, stop coming into my 1v1's saying I don't have guts because I'm playing Atreides on QM settings on Sandy Pass...

  I've always felt true QM sets down to creates, LW, FOW, and SW are the only way the playing field is even from the start. I usually don't like playing with creates but I'm down with the others. I too have always felt QM are the real sets for the game. Anything else is just practice.

  Plus starting with low money forces you to build your economy and manage your spice.

  Cut the QM-er's some slack, I likes me some QM sets too ... I just wish there was a way to randomize the map. ;)

I think the poeple that I have played so far are too rigid in the types of games they go for. Everyone is afriad of FOW, most like SW, hate LW. The amount of money they usually start with is the only thing that doesnt seem set in stone.

But most people are willing to try them most of the time (FOW is usually the one where most people leave or try to change the most).

Also, because Fishers Plain is so popular, I have gotten used to playing on that map only, and when someone chooses another, I feel strange (but still play, cos its all good fun  ;))

Personaly I think qm sets are the best . But I mostly play 10k cause there's so many noobs that are like pre built is gay and stuff . So I'm just like screw it .

pre-built is irritating in its setup.... thats my beef... however i will explain more below..

Qm sets i really don't mind playing. but the only prob. i have with them is kinda what Gun said, it does put things ass-backwards.

I agree with gun, its harder to manage ur economy with 10k than with qm setts, i like to start from scrap and build up, thats why i like 10k, but i dont have a problem with qm
