Good movie! anybody here seen it?

I am suprised, this movie only took about 8 million to make, and boy it is a good movie! great soundtrack too. "First Sleep" and songs like that are really dark and futuristic. The story itself is wonderful too, though different in some ways from the original Solaris which was a russian film, havent seen that yet but I want to.

The story is hard to explain, but complex. Not in a negative way at all though, anybody here seen it and want to make a comment?

I saw it a while back.  Did I recommend that to you, TMA?  I recall us chatting about it once or twice.

It was an extremely well-made film.  It had a wierd, eerie silence about it.  You don't see much emotion during the "flashbacks", whcih is a neat effect.  Of course, as TMA said, the music is amazing.

It is a scary movie in a way, because it has an unnerving message to it.

I watched the original Russian version but I have been putting off watching the remake because of George Clooney after what he and Warner Bros. did to the Batman series, I have never forgave them.

Excellent film. I need to rent it again to discuss, but my recollection is of a truly excellent film.

Schumaker is responsible for the last two batman movies, Clooney absolutly hated what happened to the franchise.

Well, it was rather americanized, but still a good movie. Altough book is still the best, nothing can beat good old Lem...
