I'm just curious to see if anyone here has heard of this band?  Their music always makes me think of Dune.

there are MP3 clips of their songs.  They're a pretty unique group...9 of them.  3 guitarists, 2 bassists, 2 drummers, a cellist, and a violinist.  Their songs are long...some as long as 20 minutes.  They're very melodic and epic.  Totally instrumental.  Almost like classical music on rock instruments.  It's great.  It'd make awesome music for a Dune movie...if I were that hung up on the idea of more Dune movies that is.

That'll do it. I read a bunch of Roger Zelazny books to Steppenwolf, and now the first five songs on their "best of" CD always triggers memories of those books.
