There may already be a thread about this.  If there is, sorry.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had considered the possiblity of making a Dune mod for NWN (not necessarily based on the story in the books, but taking place in the Duniverse).  The first expansion added a desert tileset which could work for Arrakis.  I'm not good enough of a scripter to do most of the required work myself, sadly.

Any thoughts?

The original NWN campaign was horribly average and generic. In short, it sucked. I'm making a module that will finally make NWN what it could've been, afterall the engine is really great, they just should've spent more time on the sinple player campaign (afterall it's also the multiplayer campaign...).

I'm sure that would be a great idea, and one I am sure Dust Scout will second!

Sure, bring me up. You know it's just a bizarre coincidence I even read this? I hardly ever even open this board...

Anyhoo, it's a good idea provided someone with the time and ability to do the job carries it out. That leaves me out... Designing haks for crysknives and stillsuits... etc etc. Then of course there's the problem of how on earth to incorporate the NWN spells inherant to many classes into the Duniverse (Though if I am right classes can be changed... maybe Fremen? Bene Gesserit? As well as the houses, Sardaukar, etc?).

A good idea it is. Complicated and time-consuming, but a good idea.
