Worm projection

I'm wondering if you could clone a fremen fedaykin while hes on a worm. Do you have to have the projector in the sand or what. Is it posable?

when you project a fedakyn riding a worm it produces a replica, worm and all but its a bad idea because you cant get close enough to attack

for sand rider yes for worms no and it would be useless except for scouting and scaring opponent I mean how many people could know you could project the sandriders?

Not trying to be funny Alphabeta4000 but now we're talking about it people who visit the site will know about it. So with the projection you can not attack your opponent only use it as some sort of diversion.

At the most, there can only be one worm on the screen at one time. So your opponent will know something's going on if he sees two worms.

(BTW Haven't been here for a while - been busy with exams.)

wrong there it is only one wild worm on screen at a time and there are mods with 12 worms.

wrong i had a fed on a worm in way to my enemys havester and all a sudden another worm swollows my harvester from under him.

To ascertain all the 'wrong' bits, you can have only one surface worm at any time, but as many wormriders as you like, since they do not count towards the surfaceworm tally.

right and did you know on one of my eccentric times I made a mod with 12 worms on screen and the worms culd go on rock.

I have a related question:  What happens when two worms fight in a skirmish/multiplayer mission?  Also, is it possible to totally kill the regular, "wild" worm, or does it just run away like they do in Dune2K?

they don't even hurt each other, it is this piece of code I know that makes it so and makes worms unable to attack buildings and very few other units.

When I mean attack I mean hurt not just avoid or ignore. The thing can get right in a worms face and survive

I'm currently having problems with worms invading my base in a TS - Dune mod I'm making. They are really annoying. And you can have LOADS of worms at any one time in TS.

And yes, the worms do just go away, rather than die.

Making the worms not attack is taking away from the fun of the game but it's your game play it your way. I would would rather they attack but that is just me.

I just wated to ask how to ride a worm??

Because when I place a Thumper on the sand, and wait there for a while a worm comes and it simply swallows the Fed with its thumper.....

P.S.:Whick are the "ridable" worms?
