A New Dune

Does anybody think that Westwood should create a new Dune game? I mean like really cool new units, infantry, and buildings and other stuff?

I think "YEA!!!!!!" 'Cause I mean Emperor: Battle for Dune is kind of now, a bit boring, BUT still cool.

If there is no more Westwood, then who should create a new Dune game, EA Games??!!! I don't trust those guys.

The possibility of a new Dune game is non-existent. And even if it DID happen, which it won't, as War said; it would be some POS like Generals and then just end up ruining the whole Dune automosphere and scare ANYONE else off from ever doing another Dune game. And besides, if EA bought the rights they'd have'em for 'bout the next 1,000 years.

There has been mention of a Dune game in a chat with Brian H and that other guy ... so who knows maybe one day the spice will flow again.

Byron Merritt in some conversations seems to hint at the likelihood of such a project. Even without this, he's also said that if he finds a fan-made game that's good enough, he'd see to it's review for possible sale.
