Well, in Europe some people started getting there copies last week. The official release date is Dec. 9th here in North America, and a few positively glowing reviews are already up. Two of my friends are getting it the day it is released, another for christmas, and myself, well, I'm waiting until January simply so I don't spend all my time watching them instead of studying for finals ;)

Plus, I've entered probably 20 contests so I want to see if I get it for free first:)

And I have no doubt I'll watch each and every ep with my friends during the break anyway:)

Anyone else getting this? The price is amazingly cheap. Some chains in the US are even selling it at $20!

Great show. One of my absolute favourite. A new movie is being made, gonna be out next november.

I agree completely Mahdi, I enjoyed this show immensely, and was outraged when it stop running. But, the movie should be good, and I can't wait for that :)

I've only seen one episode, and bits of others. it's quite good, but I don't think I'll be buying a set just yet. My mom has a tape full of them that she had made for me, but I haven't gotten around to watching the episodes yet. Sorry, Mahdi, although I have the feeling you haven't watched Starhunter yet, either! ;)

Yeah eagle, Firefly and John Doe were both great shows. But what can you expect from the most conservatively biased channel on television :P
