I tried this form of dance, when your mind becomes one with rythm and you feel like you've sacrificed your whole body to it. It is very interesting that a simple quick house music can set such state. I felt like after some drug or what. What do you think of it?

I've not used that drug. My blood was full of cofeine, but nothing else from such things. Point is that I've reached a state similar to its effects by will strengthened with music.

Music can have a very powerful effect on the human mind. Possibly something to do with brainwave frequencies... Movement can have a similar effect. Possibly for the same reason.

Caid, what music was it exactly? Where can I get it? ;D

First, except for experimental reasons, I tend to want a total control thus not submitting to music that brings extatic stuff. But different kind of music can bring different effect with your mind working on it.

About your experience, I would say that the experimentation in itself may give you conclusions about tribal societies, the use of drugs vs music (each type of music has its drug: disco = heroine, rave = extasy, etc.). It may also bring you some understanding about control and the limits you have on control. Other than that, if it doesn't bring something in itself that's positive, not just hedonistic pleasure, then it's just that: hedonistic pleasure, to be repeated again, and again, and again, and... But as a first time, it's certainly an experience, and perhaps the state that it brings to may be useful. I would also wonder about the effect the coffeine got in all this.

Really, what was the music exactly?

To say it truly, it has no specification. I was so high with any quicker rythm, no matter if it was a pure techno, house or usual r&b pop. But best for start is techno, then you can continue on everything. DJ was changing styles very often, so I can't say there was something more effective. When I begun, I've danced around ignoring space, but then I found out it would be better to leave control over legs - you know, others are also humans. Just stay and leave other body to dance.

But to enter the state, you need just concentration over rythm and to slowly point nerve by nerve to it. What kind of chemical stimulant do you prefer, I don't know, I could do it without any. Then when you're fully in it, you don't need to concentrate no more, you have just free, problem-less mind, I found out it makes your memory very fresh and you can remember many things you thought you have forgotten. In fact, when I felt I was tired I just stopped and went for water (beware of dehydration!), you have some adrenaline in blood, but much more control than as when you are drunk. But still, I wouldn't say it is very healthy.
