even if they can transport small objects or molecular things from room to room. . . that's a long way from actually beaming a certain molecule to another place and not just reprecenting them somewhere else.

And then if we humans do have a sould. . will that be transported with that block of carbon in our body .. or won't it. . .

Hmm, sounds quite interesting if you ask me. The very prospect of such a beam that would actually allow matter to travel within it (of course in later stages of this) from one location to the next is very amazing. Of course, when a beam transports me to Moscow in twenty-seconds that's when I'll truly be amazed.

Yeah, they transported a particle of light a couple years ago, and an atom last year.
