I think it's okay case I guess. There's not much info to go on. I dislike the 300 watt power supply though. With todays technology, a 300watt PSU is the bare minimum.

btw, the prie of mine is high due to the fact that you don't need any tools for install stuff, there are no sharp edges, you can slide out the motherboard, with cards installed, you can take out the harddisk bay, all without tools.

There are some pics in the thread "how to build your own comp"

also, why do i need a 500 watt power supply again?

You don't.

You only need >400watt to supply your computer safely.

And buy a big enough case with enough cooling!

My case was really cheap(about $65 with 300watt unusable psu included), and a bit too small to house everything I wanted(especially my watercooling, but it works as it should due to careful placement).

I have a big problem with the temperature inside my case. I only have one case fan, though, but my case opts for another one, so I want to decrease my case temperature from the about >35 degrees it actually is inside my case(!).

My graphics card is having great problems depending on the room temperature it's located in, so enough cooling is very, very important... :)

Many people just takes a fan for a fan, but you must carefully plan the amount and the noise of your fans before buying them.

true, true(not that i know anything about this before u start making assumptions....)

cy are u getting any of this heat wave? where i am my comp is constantly overheating... damn athlons....

^maybe u are too far north...

Nope, we escaped your heatwave ;D

But two days ago, my graphics card "shut down" after 10 minutes of playing Warcraft III...

I tried it over and over again, and it always "shutted down".

In the end, I tried setting the resolution and graphical settings to very low, and then it worket.

Today, I set the settings up to maximum again, and it hasn't frozen a single time!

thats odd... i have been haveing really odd problems myself (randomly shutting down, freezing, messages like 'windows has recoved from a sirious error')

appolyon (who lives near me) has been having similar problems. i blame the heat wave

Try taking the computer case off and if possible, have an external fan blow cool air inside. That way you will be able to tell if it's the heat or not..

I'm out of money now due to my Holiday trip to England :(

But I downloaded a cool program called HMonitor(which is only a trial version, but good anyway), which worked just like the bios where you can look at the motherboard and cpu temperatures, check the voltages and many other things. Worth downloading for a check.

And my case is warming to the touch when I lay my hand to the window, so I'm going to open it now. That should bring the temperatures down to room temperature, which is about 23

i guess it must be the heat, but the heat wave is supposed to end somtime soon, apparantly (i tried putting a fan in there but it only delayd the weiridness..)

ill try that HMonitor thing, thanks cy

We have the ame heat wave and I have to say, the 6 fans work excellent. I can play for hours without a hitch...

But look at you...

You have 6 fans and a Lien Li case!

I have a cheap case with one single fan in it :(

And I'm broke :(

A friend of mine bought this one today because his AMD was about 60 deg. whole day and he couldn't play for more then 30 minutes. It's working ok now. And I [ and my computers ] are in a "semi-" ariconditioned room. . so no probelms here aswell. [ that and 5 coolers in the case ]

Yep. I own the same case, just black with blue neon lights in it that pass some light to the grills in front. He bought the weird looking collor with the water cooling system.

Hehe,I don`t worry cause I got in my aopen Q8 high tower

Inntake:

1 120 mm sunon

1 92 mm panaflow

mounted in front. With a 1/4 pipe to lead the air up towards ram blocks and cpu and my chipset

2 92 mm sunon

mounted in side panel to blow over cpu and graphic card

1 80m mm on top of cpu, blowing down.

2 40 mm to blow at my HD

1 80 mm to blow at my pcu socket from behind, made a hole in the bracket to Mother Board.

Exhaust:

1 120 mm pana flow mounted in the top.

2 80 mm over the power supply

1 80 mm within the power supply

Intake fans are controlled by 7/12 V switches, exept the one on my cpu socket. Those two 80 mm over the power supply are controlled by two variable potentiometers. All fans are connected to my fan bus(thanks to Cliff at www.fanbus.com).Each fan is mounted with rubber washers,to prevent resonance from them.I have isolated my whole case with noise silencing pads. 8) more said hehe.

I`ve modded my case meself.Hope to get hold of a digi-camera so I can post some pictures of it.
