Does anyone know what APM means?

Hi,

There are these great players on warcraft always talking about APM. like the best korean player has 320 APM++ But what the hell does it mean?

Can someone enlighten me?

Hmmm... According to The Acronym Database, it could mean one of two things:

-Advanced Power Management (on the IBM OS2)

-Attached Pressurized Module (a.k.a. Columbus)

In other words, I have no clue. Sorry. ;)

I found out.. It means actions per minute, So if someone has 320 apm He moved his units 320 times in a minute :P.. But what i dont get is how you can find out your own apm.

An action is also like selecting a building, queuing up units, and start researching something aswell as using unit abilities.

I found a program called W3chart. It was meant for star craft but it works fine with warcraft. I have 170 APM woot. and Tillerman only has 112. ;d though... Showtime.werra (numba 1 korean player) has more like 400 APM.

80 is reasonable.. You know.. TillerMaN is at 112.

It doesn't mean much.. If you just abuse your rally point thingy you can easely get 120 APM.

I think I only do that less than 20 times a minute... :'(
