ah yes i remember the the Doom story line now... It sounds more like something someone made up in the Fanfiction forum, its unrealistic, quake 2 however..

like your posting skills :)

Well, Cyborg, you said that we wouldn't care about the story, and if we're immersed in it then it'd be hard to ignore it.

I said I was looking forward to the Doom III story. :)

But I really look forward to the story and such this time.

if you think about it, nearly all the SF FPS have a similar story line. You and your fellow soldiers are fighting for humanity but somehow all the other soldiers die and your the only one left to destroy a whole alien race

Far from earth, the UAC recommenced their experiments on on of the moons of Jupiter. A spaceship, mistaken for a supply vexxel on radar, hovered above the base. Hideous demons poured out, blanketing the base with death. All your comrades were quickly slaughtered or zombified. This time, it's not about survival. It's about revenge.

question: some articles says that doom 3 wont work good on any current system, will quake 4 use same engine as doom 3? coz if it will i can forget about buying it untill i have my personal super computer..

doom 3 is supposed to have an all new all unique engine so i doubt it. quake 4 will probly have a better one anyway, the doom 3 engine doesnt look that great.

also it probly would work fine on the higher end computers...

lol u know nothing.. doom 3 engine dosent look good? where the hell do u live? ha they tested doom 3 with a 2.0 GH computer with 520 MG memory and GeForce 5900 video card, on a low resolution it was laggy.. :-X

i'm sure doom3's graphix will be stunning, but the requirements have nothing to do with the quality of the graphics. Especially beta's usually require powerful computers to run well.
