when u say classic do u mean roc? ive seen some replays of top tourny games they look fun. Problem with wc3 is i find i dont get addicted, i get bored after 10-20 games each time i take it up. you know what the biggest replay site for wc3 is?

probably runs slow cause u got a geforce 2 you need better graphic card and 512 ram if u wanna get some speed on generals

lol well what i meant was i was dissapointed with 1 and pleased with the other, if i was comparing them i wld have shown the advantages and disadvantages off both.. anyways moving on with the topic again...

when did i compare a tnt to a radeon? u asked me what cards i had and i said id had a tnt, im not comparing it im merely pointing out i wasnt impressed with it

well if u read the generals forums nearly all of the graphics card problems are ati card ones but whether thats to do with driver support or generals being geared around nvidia i dont know. i think ati is the better option if ur more of an expert user as u will know how to fine tune it and u can get better performance but obviously if ur looking for support and that ur probably right nivida is the way to go, i had a geforce 3 and a tnt and the tnt was awful and led to choppy video signs, i just wasnt impressed resolution performance was low whereas when i got my ati radeon it was awesome from the word go and i havent had 1 problem on any game ive tried it with, including generals emperor war craft 3 renegade etc i think the 1 they gave me was a super happy nice working card ;)

and your right nyar i stick to what ive had good experience with, i like u are an asus fan altho i defected from intel after the shit p3 and got an athlon.

lol ive read it at several sources ages ago when generals 1st came out on the official boards, i didnt mean it was designed especially for it just saying it was designed with nvidia users more in mind than ati users. i.e that the performance of the game would be superior on a nvidia card as opposed to an ati 1, of course it may be totally wrong im just telling u what i read, im not gonna go trauling through the 1000s of topics trying to find it i dont have the time, and nyar ive never had 1 single problems getting drivers for my ati radeon and the amount of problems i had with the nvidia cards was greater than that of my ati, the quality of the ati is fabulous..

i have had several nvidia cards and only 1 ati card and i can tell you from my experience ati takes nvidia cards to the cleaners, dont be put off by negative stories from generals about ati cards because generals was designed around the nvidia cards not the ati ones...

well living in europe we had these dvd style cases for ages and i agree with u sven i hate them, the big cardboard box 1s were soo much better i really wish they would be cardboard once again but nevermind eh

yes ull be pleased to know that the best game of all time(tib sun) has tib twilight in the making, ea r going to take the cnc titles on and continue to make them. tib twilight will use the same 3d engine used in generals and in emperor and i think they r making it next before a sequel to renegade or an ra 3 when logged into the tib sun online screen theres now an online message saying how ea r going to support the ts community(still a huge 1) so well wait to see shame im soo hooked on generals ;)

truly class game its gonna be huge when ladders n prizes come next week, hmm im like a usa captain 22 losses 11 wins or someit, lol empr i dont quite understand how u lose 1st 4 then win 22 on the trot, bit of a good effort for my liking...

ive been playing generals for 3 days now and ive gotta say its 1 of best games ive ever played and i think its got potential to be an all time great, it seriously is gonna be huge once they get clans n ladders up next week, what an amazing game, and u know the best bit? support... mods on lobbies lots of diff 1s who give out information etc and they r patching the game constantly... something i aint seen for a long long time in a c n c game

i think the best players i have played have been cerb and dawg but then i havent really plyed earedil, elite or ace ppl many rate as their no1s considering me and max came from ts and got rank 1 2 and 3 on qm ladder in a couple of months i think emperor is a game that can be learned pretty quick if uve got good knowledge of rushing on diff games a good idea of strats needed in c n c gaming however emperor is diff to any other game, the rushing is unreal, talk about on the ground warfare, yaaay

well to be honest i hated emperor to start off with..... until some1 let me know rhat u had to set graphics to low to achieve any kind of speed then i pretty much loved it, emperor is such an underrated game but im telling u the amount of times ppl write off new games without giving it a chance is more than ud think.,,, anyways lets give it a chance, i here theres prizes to be won...
