Cambridge SoundWorks SW320

There is 2 little speakers and a Subwoofer.

Now,today, suddenly those 2 little speakers started makeing this very low scratching noise once in a while. They make it like for a second or two then stop, then again after some time. The scratch lenghts and the time between scratches vary.

Could you check the wires for scratshes, holes, things like that.

I fyou have a headset or second pair of speakers could you connect them to your PC to see if it's your speakers of somethings else ?

Wires seem ok. I think there my speakers, they have fallen down from my table several times :-

Better see if the warranty isnt out of date.

i noticed something else also, even when i turn off speakers they still make the noise, and also my monitor is vibrateing, and when i listen monitor makes scratchy noise from the back, since my Speakers are standing on the monitor - could it be that my monitor is screwed and its affecting my speakers.

Ok, i talked to someone about it, and he said its my monitor definately, sometihng to do with high voltage or sumthing. My sound system is ok, so ill be switching my monitor soon.

LOL, nevermind with the monitor, monitor is ok 8)

Its the left speaker thats doing it. Right speaker is fine. It must be a shitty contact or sumthing.

I got to the bottom of this, it is my left speaker i plugged it out and all stopped. I let it stay out for few hours and ive plugged it back in, as for now it hasnt made anymore noise.

I had a similar problem with my old computer. In fact, it was the left speaker. :O

Sometimes I could jiggle the cord around and it would stop for a while, but I never could fix it.

Is your computer an HP?
