Whats the deal w/ WOL???

I just reinstalled everything on my computer, and westwoods registration screen doesnt show up. it says "this page failed to load or is invalid. Any suggestions? Could i still sign up? I heard that Westwood booted off EBFD from its site, but i didnt know that they werent going to allow any dune related stuff on it. Help would be welcome.

As far as I know, you still should be able to register a username on WOL. But I think the regular EBFD players will be able to tell you that.

Btw, your previous username (if created) will remain on WOL, so you don't need to re-register it

Start emperor >> options >> something like WOL options about automatically logging in etc >> untick everything so that it's: no i don't want to automatically log in etc >> go back to the main menu >> multiplayer >> WOL >> register a new account.

If it still fails to load the regestration page in-game (like it did for me), then if you have westwood shared internet components installed then use the link in there. That is what I had to do.

Seems a few people have had that problem. Maybe should be moved back as it seems others are have the same problem, nothing to do with tech support just need the right link.

Have you tried it somewhere in the last 14 hours ?

I have been playing Yuri's revenge for about the whole day, mostly on US servers and they have been acting really strange I must admit. Kicking you, even got a general WOL error message during one game. Now Yuri's revenge isn't Emperor Battle for Dune nor do the probably have the same gameserver. Although it could be WOL. You might just wan't to try again tomorrow and see if it works then without any problems. :)
