Springer is actually a very smart guy. Far smarter than anyone on these Boards, except of course myself.

He's the exact sort of scheister that would make for a great politician. I don't see why his popularity rating would be low. I once saw him defending his show, and it was quite interesting. He was asked: "don't people fight on your show?" and his answer was: "yeah, but i turn on the tv and there's fighting everywhere else too." (i am paraphrasing, he conveyed this in a much sleeker way). He has all the necessary skills and talents to be a Politician. Way more so then other celebrity Politicians who are utter buffoons, ie: Jesse Ventura
